Kiriel comes for an ingrained music tradition,
a daughter of a jazz singer and sister to
a concert flautist.
She picked up her first Native American flute in 2000 and never set it down.
She credits her
full transformation into her divinity through the breath of life that came to her, in the vibration of love, by playing her
flute.... and seems to want to play that song where ever it is that she is.
She is also an accomplished didgeridoo
player
and a member of the band ‘Black Raven’.
She has won several awards including West Coast
Native American Awards for the Best Traditional Instrument and Best Album of the Year at the Phoenix and LA Music Awards
Peter plays his many many flutes from the heart
asking for guidance from the creator.
He traveled to
Arizona for the first time in 2001 performing at
A Flute Odyssey.
His spiritual flute journey bought him
to also play the
Mayan Temple Drone flutes.
He has been back and forth to the US for several years
last year he was on tour with Kiriel performing
along a 36,000 mile journey from Oregon to El Paso.
He
has made several albums including Pure Nighteagle and Last Buffalo.
